Who Can Be Listed?

Listings on Desert Valley Buzz are reserved for businesses represented by approved members of our Facebook networking group.

Before becoming eligible for a directory listing, prospective members must answer the group’s membership questions, agree to its rules and provide enough information for us to conduct a reasonable, good-faith review of who they are and the business they represent. This process helps us discourage anonymous, misleading and spam-related listings while creating greater community accountability.

Every listing begins with a connection to our local Facebook business networking community.

Who Our Members Serve

Desert Valley Buzz includes businesses serving:

• Individuals and households, such as restaurants, retailers, entertainers, home-service providers and wellness professionals.

• Businesses and organizations, such as accountants, marketing specialists, technology providers and business consultants.

• Both audiences, such as musicians, photographers, caterers, contractors and other professionals who accept both private and business clients.

When creating a listing, each member selects the option that best represents the customers they actively serve. Their selection appears on the listing as “Customers Served,” helping visitors quickly determine whether the business is appropriate for their needs.

Members should select “Both” only when they actively provide services to individuals or households and to businesses or organizations.

What Our Approval Means

Approval means we have reviewed the information available to us through our group membership process. It provides a starting point for making local connections, but it is not a guarantee, endorsement, background check or certification. We encourage everyone to conduct their own research before hiring or doing business with any listed business or professional.
